- Only days after release, Shiva Nazar-Ahari sentenced to 6 years in prison, exiled to Eizeh prison and 76 lashes.


- Karoubi questions Rafsanjani on whether he thinks the Judiciary is acting justly & indepandant of other entities.

- 1- HR activist Abolfazl Abedini serving an 11yr sentence in Ahvaz Kazeron prison was attacked & severely beaten.


- 2- Abedini while waiting in the bathroom line was attached by a prison personnel, handcuffed & shacked to a pipe.


- 3- Abedini was than beaten severely by person named Ghalandar using a green pipe.


- 4- Abedini has been the subject of atrocities since his arrival at Kazeron prison including restrictions on visits & phone calls.


- Safaei Farahani one of the 7 Reformists who filed a lawsuit against IRIG had no heart problems before being imprisoned.


- Reformist Mohsen Safaei Farahani has been hospitalized for 2nd time in 10 days due to heart problem.


- Recent reports were Ayatollah Broujerdi is in danger of having a stroke, he has vision problems, numbness & severe headaches.


-Family of imprisoned Ayatollah Broujerdi was prevented from visiting him at Evin today.


- Former IR Prosecutor Gen Public Relations Dir, Saleh Noghrekar has been sentenced to 1 yr in prison.


- Journalist Abdolreza Tajik's sister was summoned to court in Evin, interrogated, charged then released on bail.


- Court of appeals has upheld the 8 1/2 yr sentence of student activist Majid Tavakoli.

- Reports are that Court of Appeals has upheld the 8 1/2 yr sentence of student activist Majid Tavakoli.


- After torturing Hengameh Shahidi for months, IR is asking for $600,000 so she can get out & get medical help.


- Hengameh Shahidi's interrogators wanted her to make a false confession of having an affair with former pres Khatami.


- Journalist Hengameh Shahidi suffering from multitude of health problems including heart condition.


- On the day of her trial, Hengameh was so frail that she fainted in the courtroom. Medics had to be called in.


- Hengameh's family has been trying to get the judiciary to lower the bail to no avail.


- Imprisoned attorney Nasrin Sotodeh was allowed to call home for the 2nd time. She was arrested 2 weeks ago.


- Ahmadinejad: Releasing Sarah Shroud was out of kindness of IR, we hope that they extend the same kindness for the detained Iranians.

- A 25 y/o man was hanged Thurs in Varamin after receiving 173 lashes, he was convicted of kidnap & rape.
