- HR Violation: Sorna Hashemi & Alireza Firoozi arrested more than 2 weeks ago. Their whereabouts still unknown.


- Currently there are 43 journalists held as political prisoners in Iran prisons.

- Per Ghazvin police chief the students violations: Drinking alcohol, attending night time & mixed birthday parties.


- Interrogations of prisoners in Gohardasht goes on for 24 hours a day, other prisoners can hear screams.


- Since 10 days ago, the recreational hall of Gohardasht has been used by Intel to interrogate prisoners.


- Large number of people arrested on Ashura have been moved to Gohardasht prison.


- Apparently Gohardasht prison in Karaj is becoming a torture house for the Ashura detainees.


- Guards take prisoners to the ward's exit door than tell them "you are barred from visitation" & take them back.


- 8 more names of people arrested on Ashura have been released by HRDA. 205 names released so far.


- 1- Printing MP Motaheri's response to Mashaie which included insults to Ahmadinejad.


- 2- Printing comments of ex-pres Khatami in which he called conditions of the country "chaotic".


- 3- Printing former official's comment "IR security atmosphere problematic & freedom of expression is denied in".

- 5- Printing unreal image of the country’s economic status & offering baseless statistics.


- Currently there are 7 members of the Committee of Human Rights Reporters in prison.


- Tehran prosecutor said the Committee of HR Reporters have MKO connections which the Committee explicitly.


- According to Tehran prosecutor Gen, cooperation with the Committee of the Human Rights Reporters is a crime.

- 1/3 Political prisoners in Uromiyeh prison were attacked by prison special guards & security forces.


- 2/3 Forces used batons & elec shock batons in attacking the prisoners, also destroyed their personal property.


- 3/3 After attacking the prisoners, guards took Turkish political prisoner Ali Ahmad Solayman to unknown location.


- Family pressure: Masoud Normohamadi brother of political prisoner Saied Normohamadi has been arrested.

- Family of Forough Mirzaei (one of the arrested lawyers) have had know news for 16 days now.


- The lawyers were arrested in their home or office & the reason for arrest is still unknown.


- Two of the arrested bar association members are women. Some of the 8 lawyers them are not from Tehran.


- 1. Regime is so concerned about the upcoming anniversary of the revolution it is censoring historical images.


- 2. The regime fears protesters will rally once again on February 11.


- 3. State radio-TV has been ordered to not show images of 1979 protesters exhibiting violence or confronting police.


- 4. Photographer Mariam Zandi said the Islamic Guidance Min asked her to censor her latest book on 1979.

- 16 days since the arrested of journalist Mostafa Dehghan, he called family 3 days after arrest, no info since.


- The attorneys were arrested in Tehran & other cities by Intel agents going to their homes & their offices.


- The Bar Association has not issued the names of the arrested attorneys, 2 are female.
