- Journalist Bahman Ahmadi Amoei has been on hunger strike since Mon 7/26.

- Reports are that 6 political prisoners in ward 350 started a hunger strike on 7/27 to protest their treatment.

- Reports are 15 prisoners have been moved from ward 350 to ward 240 solitary after the incident on Mon at Evin.

- This regime commits HR violations at it's worse. Latest is the rape of a journalist in front of Judicial authorities.

- The regime is upset at the international attention & outcry that Mostafai brought to the stoning case of Ashtiani.

- Many pol prisoners have not had a day of leave from prison. Many are still kept in prison on temp detention order.

- Author & ex Editor-In-Chief of Souran weekly publication was arrested yesterday in Sanandaj (Kurdestan).

- Mousavi met with family of Ahmad Naeimabadi. He was the first victim of IR's brutality during street protests last year.

- No phone connection with Evin 350 has caused much concern for the families of pol prisoners on death row.

- 1 month since arrest of Teachers Trade Union membs Mahmoud Bagheri & Mokhtar Assadi. No family visits yet.

- The 90+ journalists are asking Pros Gen Dowlatabadi for investigation & action re their colleague's reported rape in prison.

- Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi has aksed the UN for action re Journalist Abrolreza Tajik's rptd rape in prison.

- logger Behnam Ebrahimzadeh arrested June 12 so violently that he suffered broken ribs & leg bone.

- Family of Ebrahimzadeh has had only a phone call from him complaining of pain from his broken bones.

- Evin authorities will not give any info to Ebrahimzadeh's family. His status is currently unknown.

- All phone calls from ward 350 have been banned since Mon. Reports are 10 prisoners have been moved to solitary.

- On Mon during visiting hours Evin guards treated the prisoners & their families extremely harsh.

- After guards reaction to their families the prisoners chanted slogans, visiting hrs were cut short as the result.

- Abdolah Momeni, Bahman Amoei & Ahmad Karimi along with number of other ward 350 prisoners have been moved to solitary.
