- Shahpour Kazemi, Brother of Zahra Rahnavard (Wife of Mir Hossein Mousavi) met with his family on Oct 30th for the third time since his arrest. Kazemi has been detained in early days after the election coup in June. He was in solitary confinement for more than 60 days and has been under severe pressure to do false “conf...essions”. This is while he has not been politically active at all and he is basically has been held hostage to put pressure on Mousavi and Rahnavard.

- Mousavi's Statement #14 : What we can learn from this matter is that we should not become extremists ourselves. Sooner or later- if God willing rather very soon - opponents of the people will leave the scene. Is it right that a destroyed country would be left for people? What we should be concerned about are the i...nterests of the country, because the country has no one but its true owners to be concerned about it. We must start building tomorrow from today. - Since yesterday (Oct. 30th) and for another ten days, Yazd University will be closed. The heads of the university claim the reason for closing the university is the influenze virus.

- The presence and surveillance of government forces at Tehran university has intensified. On the morning of October 31, 2009, plainclothes militia blocked the university. Tehran University is an important institution at the core of the resistance against dictatorship. After the elections, they have struggled a lot with the presence of government agents and coup leaders on campus. In reparation for 13 Aban, students have held protests while also planning. These actions are believed to be why the students are under tight security by government forces and plainclothes militia at Tehran University.

- Four students at Tehran University have been arrested.

- Behrooz Nabavi, despite reports, have no been freed; but in a hospital.
