Misc. Sources

- Dr. Abolfazl Fateh, the head of Mousavi’s election campaign’s media committee, regarding Mousavi’s statement #17 said: “Mousavi’s statement is a significant good will gesture from his side and an important test for the authorities.” He added that Mousavi’s statement is the solution for getting the country out of the cr...isis based on “good will and the minimum expectations of the people”. Fateh added that Mousavi by following the teachings of Imam [Hossein] proved that the days of those who deal with God is not over and that the difference between great men and those rootless pretentious tyrants is cleared right here. He continued that now Mousavi has made the last argument for all. Fateh at the end stressed: “Now if the authorities lose this chance the future great difficulties is their responsibility and they will be blamed for not taking advantage of this opportunity forever. Is there anyone listening among those who claim to care for the country?”

- Regarding the recent rumours spread by coup government’s propaganda machine about Mousavi and Karoubi moving to north of Iran with the aim of making the environment more intense, one should note that Mir Hossein Mousavi is in his home in one of the neighbourhoods in Pastor St. (South of Tehran) and has not left the cit...y at all in the recent days. It is interesting that in the past weeks and days the same propaganda machine falsely reported that Mousavi lives in wealthy neighbourhoods of northern Tehran, while given the existence of a very close relationship between the intelligence organisations and these propaganda agencies, they should know better that Mousavi lives in a very simple house located in one of the alleys of Pastor St. (working class neighbourhood in southern Tehran).
