- Ahmadinejad: Unemployment rate will fall to 5% within 3 years.


- Student activist Nader Ahsani was arrested today & taken to Evin to start serving his 1 year prison sentence.


- Bahar newspaper has been shut down.


- Islamic Iran Participation Front and the Organization of the Mujahedin of the Islamic Revolution banned.


- 5 men were hanged in Kerman convicted of drug trafficking & rape.


- Participation Front member Davoud Solaymani has been sentenced to 6 years & 10 years ban from any political/journalism activities.

- Student leader Majid Tavakoli has been in solitary confinement for 4 months.
