- Journalist Masoud Bastani in Rejaei Shahr prison is suffering from gum & jaw infection. Treatment prevented.


- 1)During interrogations Bastani was subject to pressure&torture including,long time solitary while blindfolded.


- 2)Bastani was also subject to heavy beatings, profanity, choking, head banging against the wall & mock executions.


- Death+100 lashes sentence of a 19 y/o has been upheld by the Supreme Court for murdering his neighbor.


- Lawyer Jahangir Mahmoudi's wife was told reason for his arrest was accepting political prisoner's cases.


- Mahmoudi who is also a clergy was arrested in Esfahan few weeks ago & is in Esfahan prison.


- About a 100 Hormozgan Steel factory workers picketed the facility for not being paid wages for 3 months.


- 3 people were hanged in Esfahan Sun morning charged with possession & use of narcotics. 1 was an Afghan.


- GOOD NEWS: Evin hunger strikers were allowed to have family visits today. They are all doing well.
