- Mehrdad Rahimi holds a graduate degree in International Law & was serving his mandatory military service when arrested.
- On Jan 1, Mehrdad Rahimi along Parisa Kakaei were summoned by Intel and than arrested at their office.
- Mehrdad Rahimi told his parents he will not accept these false charges & asked them to help him.
- Rahimi's parents say he looked thin & tired & said he is under pressure to do TV confession which he is refusing.
