- Zia Nabavi was transferred fr Evin to Ahvaz prison & was attacked & beaten upon arrival at Ahvaz prison.
- Zia Nabavi is the Spokesman for Advare Tahkim (Alumni Assoc) , many of their members have been arrested & imprisoned.
- Zia Nabavi is sentenced to 10 yrs on bogus charges including ties with MKO which he has adamantly denied.
- Zia Nabavi is in the high security section with very harsh conditions, no airconditioning & 1 bathroom facility for the ward.
- The first 2 days Nabavi was fed breakfast & dinner only & could only use the bathroom facility once a day.
- On the occasion of the new academic yr Karoubi has issued a statement wishing the release of all imprisoned students
- Karoubi also hopes all the students banned from education are allowed to return back to universities.
- Ali Arshadi a PHD student arrested on Ashura & sentenced to 1 yr has been released on bail on furlough program.
- Musician Obtin Ghafari has been released on bail on furlough program.
- Ghafari tried in a 3 min trial, sentenced to 3yrs by judge Moghayeseh. Appeals Court overturned his sentence giving him 1 year.
- Arzhang Davoudi Ends Hunger Strike after 74 Days (confirmed). Reports indicate all his demands were met.
- Sepah announced 30 people involved in Mahabad bombing have been killed by during clashed with them.
- Sepah said few members of the group responsible for the bombing are still on the run.
- Sepah said that the master minds of the bombing attack in Mahabad were Mosaad & CIA.
- Currently there are 145 pol prisoners in Evin with the youngest 19 yrs old & the oldest 73 yrs old.
- Youngest pol prisoner in Evin is 19 yrs old Mohsen Shooshtari & is sentenced to 1 yr.

- The majority of the pol prisoners in Evin are student activists, journalists & political activists.
- 35 prisoners have been identified to have been imprisoned for their family ties with MKO members.
- Majority of the 35 prisoners accused of MKO ties have denied being MKO members.

- 5/8) Currently Eskandari is in Rejai Shahr prison in Ward 3 under harsh conditions.
- 6/8) Since his arrest Eskandari has not been allowed any contact with his wife & has no info re her status.

- 4/9) Others arrested along with Mohamad in this murder case were; Reza 15, Sadegh 12, Hassan 15 & Siyamak 15.
- 5/9) Reza confessed to the murder, was sentenced to death but was able to obtain the victim's...

- 7/9) Sadegh 12 was found not guilty & exonerated of all charges as only a witness to the murder.

- Bail has been set for pol prisoner 22 y/o Naser Abdolhousein at $1,250,000. His family cannot afford such high bail.
- Abdolhousein without any prior political activism was arrested last summer & was tried in one of the show trials.
- Abdolhouseini was promised lower sentence if he made false confession. He implicated himself in court.
- Abdolhouseini confessed to ties with a banned group & in court said he threw molotov cocktail during 1 of the protests.

- 1- After 8 months in Evin, Ehsan Abdeh is still in limbo status. He has not been tried yet.
- 2- Ehsan Abdeh a post graduate student at Durham U in England was arrested upon arrival at Tehran airport last summer.
