- Student activist Zia Nabavi has been transferred from Evin 350 to Ahvaz (S.IR) prison.


- Navabi was originally sentenced to 15 yrs & 74 lashings, Appeals court reduced his sentence to 10 yrs.


- Among Nabavi's charges were MKO ties, a charge that he adamantly & repeatedly has denied.


- Bail has been set for pol prisoner 22 y/o Naser Abdolhousein at $1,250,000. His family cannot afford such high bail.


- Abdolhousein without any prior political activism was arrested last summer & was tried in one of the show trials.


- Abdolhouseini was promised lower sentence if he made false confession. He implicated himself in court.


- Abdolhouseini confessed to ties with a banned group & in court said he threw molotov cocktail during 1 of the protests.


- IR is raising their ransom amount. Newest bail set for 2 prisoners $3,000,000.


- Ghazvin U student Alrireza Iranshahi has been released after 9 months in prison.


- Iranshahi arrested on Ashura, originally sentenced to 3 yrs, Appeals court lowered the sentence to 9 months.


- IR Intel Min: Agents responsible for Mahabad bombing have been arrested & will be put on trial within next few days.


- Mousavi's wife Zahra Rahnavard visited with family of Ali Hassanpour. He was killed last summer during street protests.


- Hassanpour shot to death during a peaceful protest. His body was turned over to his family after 105 days.


- Hassanpour's wife says from night of Jun 15, 09, when her husband didn't come back home, she started her search.


- Hassanpour's wife: On news sites, I saw pic of a man shot in the head laying on the street that resembled my husband.

- Amir Kabir U student Abbas Hakimzadeh has been summoned by Court in Evin. He is out on $400,000 bail.


- Mahabad bombing has left 12 dead & 82 injured, 2 are in critical condition. 35 of are injured were treated & released.


- 1- More hangings in Iran: A man convicted of possession of narcotics was hanged in Esfahan province.


- 2- More hangings in Iran: A man convicted of rape was hanged in Kerman.


- 3- More hangings in Iran: 3 men convicted of possession of drugs were hanged in Esfahan central prison.


- Intel Minister said they have identified the group responsible for Mahabad bombing. He didn't elaborate further.
