- 2/9) Mohamad's hanging was done in secret in Shiraz Marvdasht prison without advance notice to his family.
- 3/9) Mohamad was arrested as an accomplice to a murder on April 6, 08 along with 4 other teenagers.
- 4/9) Others arrested along with Mohamad in this murder case were; Reza 15, Sadegh 12, Hassan 15 & Siyamak 15.
- 5/9) Reza confessed to the murder, was sentenced to death but was able to obtain the victim's...
- 6/9) ..... family forgiveness & pay fines in lieu of execution.
- 7/9) Sadegh 12 was found not guilty & exonerated of all charges as only a witness to the murder.
- 8/9) Hassan 15 & Siyamak 15 were both sentenced to 15 yrs & 100 lashings as accomplices to the murder.
- 9/9) Reza 15, who confessed to being the killer was sentenced to 18 yrs.
- Ahvaz city Council member Daroush Mombini was arrested yesterday before a scheduled news conference.
